then copy (ctrl-c) the file fp4autl.dll

or if you have an internet connection, just simply download it here

2. then go to c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\40\bin of your computer and paste it (ctrl-v)

Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) notifications occur when your computer hasn't passed the validation test. The validation test can be failed due to being sold a pirated (non-genuine) copy of XP, or because you have changed your XP product key to a software-generated key, or sometimes it just happens for no reason at all. The failed validation installs three types of notifications on your computer: one on the log in screen, one log in timer, and one balloon. It also stops updates from Microsoft and disables your ability to install IE7 and Windows Media Player 11. This solution can get rid of all three notifications, even though you will still not be able to update through Windows Update. You will not be able to download things from Microsoft that requires a valid license either.
Some of us were sick and tired of receiving the Windows Genuine Advantage warnings on our Windows XP operating system, if you're the one, now you're in luck. Here, you will learn how to remove this annoying pop-ups message on your computer. Using some steps, you can wipe out the program and fix this error from the registry. But just remember to follow the directions exactly as given, because registry errors can make a trouble your PC.

Instructions

    Removing Windows Genuine Advantage From the Registry

1. Boot your computer in Safe Mode. (Turn On your computer and press F8 to boot in Safe Mode)
2. Click on the "Start" button and then the "Run" icon.
3. Type "regedit" without the quotation marks in the "Run" text field and click "OK." Your register editor program will now display.
4. Go to "Edit" then "Find", type WGA then enter.
5. Look for WGA folder at the left side of your Registry Editor and delete this folder.
6. Restart your computer into Normal Mode.
Now you will see that the WGA notification will not be pop-up again, but you are not totally done. Then follow these next steps.
1. 1 1. Click on the “Start” button and then the “Search” icon.
2. 2 2. Click “All files and folder” and Type WGA to find these files.
jus or just go to C:\WINDOWS\system32)
3. 3 3. Now delete the WGA files. (Note: there are usually 3 WGA files)
4. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect. The program should now be removed from your computer.
WARNING:
Do not delete the wrong files from your registry, as this can lead to catastrophic system failures in some cases.

I was confused and still unclear to me the difference between Cache and Cookies, that's why I tried to find clear explanation in the world wide web regarding these two words in internet world. If you're also confused regarding these, this post will help you to understand all about.

Cache and cookies are two different forms of temporary storage kept on client's machine to improve the performance of web pages.

Difference Between Cache and Cookies
What are Cookies?

Cookie is a very small piece of information that is stored on the client’s machine by the web site and is sent back to the server each time a page is requested. Cookies was first introduced by Netscape and in those earlier stages cookies did not receive good acceptance, since rumors said it might hack your personal data. Later people realized that cookies are actually harmless, and now they are highly accepted. Cookies are usually used to store information needed for shorter periods. At the end of this, a cookie becomes expired.

What is Cache?

Cache is a temporary storage of web page resources stored on client’s machine for quicker loading of the web pages. When you open some websites with large pictures and video’s, it might take a considerable amount of time for the website to load. The web browser stores the site contents like the images, videos, audio etc on your computer so the next time you load the same website you will find it loading faster.

What is the difference between Cache and Cookies?

  1. Although cookies and cache are two ways to store data on client's machine, they serve different purposes.
  2. Cookie is used to store information to track different characteristics related to user, while cache is used to make the loading of web pages faster.
  3. Cookies stores information such as user preferences, while cache will keep resource files such as audio, video or flash files.
  4. Typically, cookies expire after some time, but cache is kept in the client's machine until they are removed manually by the user.

I thought you would also be fascinated like me on this one. I'd been curious when I saw the image background in the flashdrive of our costumer in our shop, that's why I tried to search this in the net, and now I've finally have this, I just want to share this to everyone, this is how to put image background of your choice on your USB flash drive. Okay here's how:

Step 1:
Copy this code into notepad (copy and paste), then save it as "desktop.ini"

[.ShellClassInfo]
IconFile=%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll
IconIndex=127
ConfirmFileOp=0

[{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}]
Attributes=1
IconArea_Image="your_picture.jpg"
IconArea_Text="0xFFFFFF"
VeBRA sources - don't delete the tag above, it's there for XXXXX purposes -
[ExtShellFolderViews]
{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}={BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}
{5984FFE0-28D4-11CF-AE66-08002B2E1262}={5984FFE0-28D4-11CF-AE66-08002B2E1262}

[{5984FFE0-28D4-11CF-AE66-08002B2E1262}]
PersistMoniker=Folder.htt
PersistMonikerPreview=%WebDir%\folder.bmp

Step 2:
Put "desktop.ini" file onto your flash drive and replace "your_picture" with the
name of the picture you want to use leaving the .jpg extention the same.

Step 3:
Now copy the picture that you want to use onto your flash drive.

Step 4:
Refresh (F5) or Go back to My Computer and open your flash drive again ..and enjoy with new background... Cool right!?
